Sweatshop Update On Progress
Stacy Davidson's next indie project Sweatshop has been under way for what seems like years now. We have been patiently waiting for word on what is happening with the film and today they posted an official update on the film on their Myspace page.
"Things are moving along nicely in the Sweatshop camp, with the film now in the final stages of post-production. Director Stacy Davidson has inserted a number of stunning new shots and is putting the finishing touches on the picture's effects and color correction as we speak. Sweatshop's haunting score, composed by Dwayne Cathey, is coming together nicely - with shades of early Carpenter creeping through just as we'd so hopefully imagined."
Next month they expect the film to be already for Sweatshop to start hitting up the film festival circuit with convention appearences to boot. One such convention will be the upcoming Fangoria Weekend of Horror's in Chicago on March 6th-8th. On hand will be writer/producer Ted Geoghegan who will be handing out posters and showing some exclusive footage from the film. Also making an appearance will be FX guru Marcus Koch. We'll be following this film closely so keep it here for more.
