Huntington Enters Dead of Night

Awhile back it was announced that Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) would portray Dylan Dog in the upcoming film Dead of Night. Today IESB is reporting that Sam Huntington will be reuniting with the actor again playing Dylan Dogs sidekick Marcus. They also revealed that due to rights issues Dylans original sidekick Groucho Marx will no longer be in any of the upcoming Dark Horse publications of the comic or the film. Dead of Night is actually based on the wildly popular Italian comic Dylan Dog that spawned the film Cemetery Man.

"Dead of Night" stars Routh as a private investigator who stumbles onto the world of the undead. Kevin Munroe ("TMNT") is directing a screenplay by Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly ("Sahara," "Conan the Barbarian"), who moved the action from the U.K. to the deep bayou of Louisiana.
