Elm Street Reboot Set Some Dates

According to slashfilm, Platinum Dunes has set some dates for the reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street. The principal photography is set to start shooting in Chicago in and around April 27, 2009.

Furthermore, Warner Bros. has set the release date as well, citing April 16, 2010 for the film's theatrical release. The reboot is beind directed by Samuel Bayer, the music video director turned movie director and written by Wesley Strick of Arachnaphobia fame. Bayer has yet to set the cast, and the real question we're all wondering about is who is going to play Freddy Krueger?? We'll keep you posted when they pick them.
