Horror Sequels & Remakes,
A big bad lawsuit is in the works to the tune of $160million smackers. Mortiz Borman a producer has filed suit against Terminator Salvation producers Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek claiming fraud and breach of contract.
Apparently Borman was the defining force behind the other two getting the rights to the TERMINATOR film franchise as well as the merchandising rights for their company Halycon Co. This all took place in 2007 with the condition that Mortiz would apparently get a sizeable kick back of money for his time. Somewhere in the range of $4-5million if I am converting from pounds to dollars correctly.
According to Yahoo he did not get his money and as such... is sueing. So once again we have a major film franchise ( WATCHMEN ) that is finding itself bogged down in legal jargon and headaches. This headache should at least not hold up the films release I hope!
If you have not yet checked out the brand new Terminator Salvation Trailer you need to do yourself a favor and do so NOW. Go give it a watch its seriously bad ass
