Milla Jovovich to join Mile Zero

According to THR, Milla Jovovich is in talks to star in the upcoming horror film 'Mile Zero' with director Marcel Langenegger (Deception).  Phoenix Pictures first announced this film back in 2007, but is finally moving forward with it.

Gooner previously gave us the synopsis as follows:

Mile Zero refers to the setting in northern Alaska of an oil drilling station where a grisly massacre occurred 20-some years ago. A woman arrives at the station when it reopens in present day, determined to dispel the suspicion that her mother committed the original murders. But when crew members mysteriously start disappearing, a supernatural element is revealed.

I think the Resident Evil vet, Jovovich, could easily pull off this role, and would do quite well.  Looking forward to seeing some good results from this non-remake!
