Superman has been cast!

It appears as though Bryan Singer has stuck to his word and cast a virtually uknown. Thanks to a scooper over at Latino Review who they seem to hold high has discovered who will play Superman. The man who is cast to play Clark Kent/Superman is none other than Brandon Routh.

Routh had some bit parts in television roles on “One Life to Live,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Will & Grace,” and “Cold Case,” and recently wrapped his first film role in an indie titled “Deadly,” starring alongside Laura Prepon, Misha Collins, and Tess Harper. His name has been thrown around for awhile now but it appears Routh has got the job. Here is a photo of him dressed up as Clark Kent at a Halloween party.

Looks like they are really going for the younger look.
