Will We See Myers Mask in H2?

I reported about a month ago about the expected look for Michael Myers' mask in the upcoming sequel H2.  But now, DC is reporting that we might not be seeing as much of that mask as we originally thought we would!  Apparently Wayne Toth, the effects genius for the movie, producer Andy Gould and even Malek Akkad himself, have all confirmed that Michael Myers will spend "a great portion" of the sequel unmasked!

Hmmm... Let's look at what this really means.  Technically, Myer's spend "a great portion" of the first movie unmasked, so it's possible this is just using a play on words to increase some of the word of mouth and hype surrounding this movie.  It also could mean we're going to get more background story than we thought, estimates have come in with numbers up to around 70% of the film being maskless.

In reality, it's going to be a big moment for horror fans when Myers first throws that white pasty mask on, so it would make sense to keep it for a pivotal moment in the movie close to the turning point.  I guess we'll have to wait untill August 28th to see for sure how long we'll have the maskless Myers.  What do you think?  Is this a good thing??
