Rumor: Sean Connery bows out of Indiana Jones 4 movie?

Rumor has it that Sean Connery will not be coming back to revive his role as Indiana Jones's pappy. It is said that his role is being hastily written out of the script. We will have to wait and see if this rumor comes to be true, or just another circulating rumor. This is a bit of a blow to the cast if it does turn out to be true, but the key player is still involved, Harrison Ford. If for some reason he were to bow out, then this movie would not be worth seeing.

Sixteen rumor-filled years after the third entry in the Indiana Jones saga, the fourth film finds series regulars Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, and George Lucas returning along with Sean Connery, who was introduced as Henry Jones, Sr. in 1989's Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Following the continuing adventures of an aging Indiana Jones in the 1950s, the film finds Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) assuming screenwriting duties this time around, delivering a script based on an original idea by Lucas. Additionally, Indy's love interests from the first two films, Karen Allen and Kate Capshaw, pop up in cameo roles.
