Eli Roth Talks Thanksgiving Feature Film

Whether you hate or love the guy Eli Roth always gets people talking. Today he finally came out of hiding to speak with MTV about a couple of his upcoming film projects. The first thing he wants to do is make a big budget "Cloverfield"-like sci-fi monster movie.

"The plan is this: I want to do a huge budget movie, but tack on three weeks to the end of it and shoot ‘Thanksgiving’,” he revealed. “I want to do an $80 million dollar movie, and then schedule three weeks at the end to quickly shoot a $5 million dollar movie.”

I guess this means that Cell is definitely out of the question for Roth now. He went on to inject a little bit more of his signature hype for Thanksgiving, “I want to make the highest body count slasher film I can,” adding "the sickest, bloodiest, most violent slasher movie.”
