No Sequel for My Bloody Valentine 3-D

It seems there will be no sequel for My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Although the director was hot to trot and had an idea for it, the studio said no. I am quite shocked that a studio would say no to a sequel. More likely I could see them saying no to a director so they could bring in a new and cheaper one to do the sequel. According to STYD the sequel is NOT happening.

My Bloody Valentine will be released in a single disc, 2 disc and BluRay edition on the 19th of May. Each Release will include 2d and 3d eidtions along with 4 pairs of 3d Glasses. The BluRay release will also include a Digital Copy but that is by no means a reason to buy it on BluRay when its more money. Special features include deleted scens, a gag reel and two featurettes.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D has a 74% approval rating by horror fans which means you definitely will want to check this one out. Although reviewers tend to see watch it for the 3-D since the 2d is a bit ho hum.
