Women in Horror Documentary Trailer

Several months ago, Meh filled everybody in on an upcoming documentary film about women in horror. The documentary is by filmmaker Reyna Young and her company Last Doorway Productions and is fully titled Welcome to My Darkside: Women in Horror and is a feature lenght documentary. It features interviews with over 40 women in the horror business from actresses and directors to writers and FX workers and everything else in between. Those interviewed include Reyna Young, Shannon Lark, Priscilla Ozuna, Judy Cerda, Felissa Rose, Lynn Lowry, Elske Mccain, Nikki K Homicide, Elissa Dowling, Michelle Fatale, Heidi Martinuzzi, Bianca Barnett, April Burril, Victoria De Mare, Rachel Grubb and many more….

The first footage is up with about 4 minutes of snippets of what horror means to several of the women interviewed. This is just a small taste of what to expect from women who devote themselves to a genre dominated by men. It should provide soome excellent insight for both male and female horror fans.
