[REC 2] Release Date Bumped Up?

Last June I informed you all that a sequel to REC was in the works. REC being of course the movie that Hollywood then ripped off with a remake called Quarantine RIGHT after.

So much for remakes that wait a few years much less a generation or two. The official site for REC 2 is sporting a count down clock that says the film will be hitting theatres this October. I originally had the release date as October 17th but seems its going to be the 9th now.

Rec 2 will have the same "claustrophobic concept" as the first film, seen through a handheld camera lens, according to Filmax. So once again if you can't handle the shaky cam it looks like you will be out of luck once again.
