JJ Abrams Announces Dark Tower as Next Project

Those of you who have been reading our site for awhile already knew that JJ Abrams was working on doing a Dark Tower movie based of the magic of Stephen King. Today comes word from IGN that once Lost is done... The Dark Tower is his next big project.

“We got the rights for ['Dark Tower'] as a film. Damon is obviously still on ‘Lost’ and we’ve been working on ‘Star Trek’ together. As soon as ‘Lost’ is done, hopefully we’ll begin tackling that.”

JJ Abrams has alot of talent and I look forward to seeing what he brings to the Dark Tower. I just hope it doesnt turn into the mess that was Mission Impossible 3.

Lets hope its more like LOST or Fringe. Or even Star Trek which has gotten rave reviews ( Star Trek Review )
