Pornstar Riley Steele Cast in Piranha 3-D

According to BD Riley Steele  a porn star has been cast in Alexander Ajas upcoming remake of the classic tale PIRANHA.

According to producer Mark Canton this is also not a cameo role. It is a major role in the film.

Immediately I have to ask why would you cast a porn star? I mean if the role requires for excellent use of the 'OH' face then perfect but for me casting rappers / porn stars / my mail man is an instant way to make your movie feel like a gimmick.

It surprises me mainly because other then this casting news the film has a top notch cast including Elizabeth Shue, Richard Dreyfuss and Ving Rhames. What do you think of this casting note?
