Aykroyd Wants Dushku In Ghostbusters 3
I have always been a huge fan of the Real Ghostbusters ever since I was a little kid waking up early Saturday morning to catch the cartoon. The films have also always had a special place on my DVD racks as well. As you all know Dan Aykroyd has been all over talking about the new sequel. Today he broke his silence once again to the LA Times.
What he had to say was that everyone is back on board including Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, Harrold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. He had a lot to say that he didn't blame anything on Bill Murray calling him an "artist". Also stating that he didn't hold anything against him for not doing another film in which he had already done twice.
Unfortunately however the script is still centered around "a passing-of-the-torch movie." The big thing that he did say during this whole talk however was that he would like to see "several" female members this time around and specifically named Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku.
Production is expected to begin as early as this winter but was quick to admit that this whole thing could "blow up at any moment". I'm still not a fan of the passing of the torch idea. I would much rather see a final hurrah movie than a passing the torch kind of thing.
