Eli Roth Not Going Ahead With Hostel 3
Before Hostel: Part 2 was even released Lionsgate had already announced they were gearing up for another sequel. Ever since that announcement they have been keeping most of the talks underwraps apparently. Eli Roth while out talking about Inglourious Basterds spoke with ComingSoon about the third film.
"That's another one like 'Cabin Fever 2,'" he told us. "The studio had made a lot of money with it so they want to keep going, and the fans, there's demand for it, and great. If I started something and other people want to continue it, go for it. I'm just not involved in anyway. There's no negativity about it. I just said, 'I put everything in my life for three years into these movies. I've said everything I have to say with it. I feel very lucky I got to make them and the fans responded the way they did, and if you guys want to continue it, great, go ahead.'"
Eli Roth went on to talk about walking away from The Cell because between him and the Weinsteins they just had different ideas about how to make the film. He did remain tight lipped however about his work on Endangered Species, his big sci fi film he has been planning. Keep it here for more from Eli Roth and Hostel Part 3.
