New 'Rec 2' Zombie Photo Confuses

As soon as I saw the new REC 2 photo which comes to us via ShootForTheHead I instantly thought Day of the Dead 2 and the spiderman zombies. Is that a zombie on the ceiling I see?

I am very much excited for REC 2 but this to me looks like a badly cgi'd nintendo critter and what on earth is it doing on the ceiling? Oh well... I am sure that REC 2 is still going to kick all kinds of ass and the photo is the first one I have seen that did not impress me. Hell the trailer is INSANE and is enough for me to be convinced this movie will rock my socks
