SAW 7 Director Announced - HorrorMovies.ca

From Variety comes word that the director of SAW 7 has been chosen. It should come as no shock to you that Lionsgate is working on SAW 7 and 8 since we told you as much months ago. According to Variety they are tapping David Hackl who directed SAW 5 to direct 7. David is not directing SAW 6 and I am curious what made them tap David to do 7.

You will recall that Marcus Dunston and Patrick Melton who did FEAST and the newly releasing The Collector will be writing the project. Its a safe bet that SAW 7 will arrive sometime in 2010. In case you missed it below you can checkout the trailer for SAW 6 which just debuted
