Megan Fox, Josh Brolin Talk Jonah Hex
Earlier today we told you that Jonah Hex apparently has a love scene that will make young boys want to watch this movie alone in a dark basement and now we have a few notes from Megan Fx on her character from the press interviews that just took place. When asked about her character she said;
I’m Jonah’s love interest you could call it but it’s not very conventional. She’s a prostitute that he’s been coming and visiting for years. He’s been having a special relationship, doesn’t want to allow her too close because everyone he loves dies. She doesn’t really understand that concept.
She also found the whole film quite challenging saying;
It was only five days that I filmed and I’ve never been more exhausted filming something. 180 on transformers it’s just har. I’m way out of my league. Everything is so far over me head
Josh Brolin when asked to describe the character of Jonah Hex said;
I don't know how to describe him. In the comic book he’s this alcoholic curmudgeony guy, goes from place to place trying to get through the day. Form my perspective he’s loosely based on this guy Al Seever… It’s a hybrid of a lot of different people. This is one of those movies I started and before the day was done, I didn’t know what I was going to do.
Luckily I didn’t have a ton of dialogue so it was okay. It was challenging as a movie, as an actor, figuring out what it is as you’re doing it but I like how it turned out. I think we got very, very lucky. ..
Keep it here we have a PILE of comic con goodies to post yet and lots and lots of excerpts from the press interviews. "Hex" first appeared in the early 1970s in the issues of "All-Star Western" before graduating to his own series in 1977 that ran for about 10 years. A new series was launched in 2005. The character also had a run in the 1990s that combined the Western genre with supernatural elements.
