Dead Space 2 and 3 On the Way?

Earlier today we learned that D.J. Caruso was going to direct the Dead Space film. Well if you look close enough at the Variety article their is also an interesting line that would lead one to think that they may have let something slip: "EA launched the game in 2008 and is working on the second and third installments."

Now they could be including Dead Space: Extraction as one of those "installments". But even if that is the case that still means that another game is on the way. However if it isn't we might be getting a triology. Whatever the case may be this is definitely good news for us gamers. Keep it here for everything Dead Space and more.
