Shimizu Will Make Your Ears BleedGoon
Takashi Shimizu was at one point one of my favorite directors until he began to fall off a little bit with his remakes of his own work. But now that he is finishing up work on the first Japanese live-action 3-D flick The Shock Labyrinth he may still have something left.
Today Variety is reporting that he already has another project lined up after he has wrapped on "Labyrinth". Phoenix Pictures have put him at the helm of their newest flick about a haunted song that drives its listeners to suicide. At this point the screenplay does not have a title.
