GoldenSimatar first gave you details on the MTV remake that was being worked on and his thoughts were it was a really really bad idea.

I also thought so but unlike Golden i am not a fan of the original. so the concept of a remake was as interesting to me as a case of really bad hemorrhoids. I09 is reporting exclusively ( with the cool photo below ) that the remake by MTV is on hold according to un-named sources close to the production.
