Ti West Disowns Cabin Fever 2

Ti West filmed Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever a couple years back. Lionsgate has since been holding onto the film and have not made any announcement on when we can expect to see it out on DVD. Since he finished the film West has tried his best to dance around the subject but doesn't believe the movie is his anymore.

While at the UK FrightFest he screened his film House of the Devil and /Film were on hand. During the Q&A for the film he said that Lionsgate has finally recut the film and that he officially wants to "disown it". Here is what /Film had to report about the film:

"According to him, his edit was like a John Waters or Todd Solondz film (yes, really) and featured heart wipes and star wipes (er…) and that the current version is much less esoteric and idiosyncratic. Yeah, West… but is it any better?"
