Plan 9 From Outer Space Remake Updates

The creators of the Plan 9 From Outer Space remake shot me an email with some updates on their film and its progress. They informed me that on September 9th I will be receiving a trailer which I will be sure to share with you all. The film is being shot on Super 35MM and the actual shooting will begin April 10th 2010. So at this point the teaser trailer must be made up of some sort of stock footage. They also tell us;

We hoped to have principle photography of the film finished by last March but we were able to increase our budget and move from shooting on super16mm to super35mm by waiting. However, to make sure we still have something for the anniversary of the original film’s release in 1959 we shot this teaser trailer, which will to give the world a better idea of the style and direction we are going with our remake.

We will bring you more on this as we get it.
