Machete Secures International Distribution

Everyone who saw Grindhouse in theaters was really blown away by the first trailer filmed by Robert Rodriguez, Machete. When Grindhouse hit theaters there was a TON of talk about turning the trailers into films. The only two that really went beyond just talks have been Machete and Thanksgiving. But the only film that is actually shooting right now is Machete.

With an impressive cast including Jessica Alba, Robert DeNiro, Rose McGowan and Cheech Marin the film was able to acquire some international distribution from Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group. Unfortunately so far there has been no word about distribution here in the states. Be sure to keep it here for more.
