Let The Fish In?!

The remake of the Swedish film Let the Right One In (renamed Let Me In) isn't on the top of my most want to see list.  The original will go down as a classic and I'm more than apprehensive over this one.  However, this latest turn will qualify as the greatest WTF moment in the genre for the 2009 year.  According to ProductionWeekly the remake is scheduled to start shooting in November in New Mexico.  Okay no worries.  The WTF comes in as the film is now titled Fish Head.

Now I can only hope that this is just a shooting title and it will retain the original title for release.  Unless somehow Eli (the vampire) has a fish-like face, the title totally baffles me.  And I'm hedging my bets this may actually be a shooting title as I cannot fathom naming a vampire drama Fish Head, it sounds more like one of those quirky indie-esqe comedy/dramas.  Let Me In aka Fish Head is due out sometime in 2010.
