Lloyd Kaufman Comes to Toronto for Toxic Avenger Musical

The infamous and legendary Lloyd Kaufman is coming to Toronto in support of the Canadian Premiere of The Toxic Avenger Musical opening Halloween night! Lloyd Kaufman is the President and Co-Founder of Troma Entertainment which is one of the oldest fully independent movie studios in the world. Lloyd and his team at Troma created a fast fan favourite in a film called The Toxic Avenger.

This film spawned three sequels, an animated children's TV spin-off, a comic book, a novel, and in 2004, a musical.

The Toxic Avenger Musical features book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change; Memphis, All Shook Up) with music and lyrics by David Bryan (Bon Jovi). Louise Pitre will star in the Toronto production as the evil mayor of Tromaville.
