Priest and Roommate Release Date Shuffle

Sony Screen Gems have decided to do a little bit of shuffling to their release calendar for 2010. Starting with Priest they have settled with October 1st which was previously held by The Roommate. So they have now moved The Roomate to September 17th, 2010.

Adapted by Cory Goodman from a TokyoPop comic, "Priest" is set in a world ravaged by war between man and vampires. Paul Bettany stars as a warrior priest and vampire fighter who teams with a sheriff (Cam Gigandet) and warrior priestess (Maggie Q) to track down a murderous band of vampires leb by Black Hat (Karl Urban) who have kidnapped his niece (Lily Collins).

"The Roommate" is a psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Leighton Meester), who becomes dangerously obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Minka Kelly). Michalka ("Phil of the Future") will play an outgoing dormmate determined to give Sara a social life. Lanter ("90210") will play Sara's ex-boyfriend. Gigandet will play her current boyfriend.
