Brad Anderson Readying The Living and The Dead?

Accoridng to Mania, Brad Anderson's next film will be The Living and the Dead. This is not the remake to Simon Rumley's film but rather an adaptation of a comic published by Speakeasy Comics. The original comic was created by Robert Tinnell and Todd Livngston.

The story focuses on a monstrous character who engages in the nineteenth-century version of snuff theater, luring innocent people in a Grand Guignol of flesh and blood. It was originally conceived as a screenplay and then later finally ended up as a graphic novel.

Solipsist Films are producing and there is no word on when production will officially begin. Right now Anderson is off filming Vanishing on 7th Street so it is likely that this will be his next project.
