Update on Tim Burton's Frankenweenie Feature

Awhile back it was announced that Tim Burton would be making a stop motion feature film out of his short Frankenweenie. Today ComingSoon.net spoke with producer Allison Abbate about what is going on with the film and when it might possibly come about.

According to Abbate, Burton wants to shoot the film in black and white and 3-D to acquire a kind of 50's, B-movie feel. This explanation is probably the best I have heard for shooting in 3-D. The bad news about the film is that it will most likely not be done for another two years. So keep it here for more and we will inform you on any other upcoming updates.
