Scream 4 Goes 3D.... Great Another Gimmick

I have no idea why but for some reason the studio wants to do Scream 4 in 3D. Multiple readers have emailed in to say BD is reporting the film will be in 3D. Take it with a grain of salt until the studio announces it. Do you like the new trend of 3D? Or do you think like me that its just a lazy excuse to work less on plot and character development and more on 'wow that blood squirted off the screen'.

Neve Campbell returns alongside Anna Lynn McCord, Courtney Cox and David Arquette. The film will begin shooting next May. Still no word on Wes Cravens return but there is alot of talk that he would like to return.

Kevin Williamson in an interview with Scifi Wire revealed that as we already knew its a trilogy and the next one will take place 10 years after the last one. Deputy Dewey is now married to Gale Weathers and is Sherriff. They have a child and the diabolical ghost face killer is back... dun dun dun.
