First Review for Nightmare on Elm Street Remake

Surprisingly enough they are already making up test screenings for Samuel Bayer's A Nightmare On Elm Street remake. Of course in the day of the internet that means plenty of people who have seen it will begin to pop up and give their opinion. So one such person contacted AICN and they posted up their review. It is really all over the place in saying its horrible and then its not that bad.. However reading the below paragraph has to worry anyone looking forward to the movie:

Typical Hollywood grindhouse, "Bread and circuses: it makes the masses happy. Hey, there are plenty of scare moments!". This film is chock-full of heart-stopping jump out and scare you moments... the audience was definitely given some jumps, however it's overdone and hides the lack of any real horror. The cheap scares become like little Snickers bites in a bag of Halloween candy: a quick jolt but soon forgotton. This would be fine if there were some good psycological horror thrown in, like a juicy steak for a more substantial meal, however all that's left is a sugar crash.

Something else that should cause some concern is that according to this reviewer is that it may possibly recieve a PG-13 rating. Saying there wasn't too much gore and zero nudity. You can check out the full review at AICN but beware their are plenty of spoilers.
