Heckerling Taking On Vamps

With Twilight being such a huge success it is no surprise that we are seeing these other "romantic" and female targeted vampire films popping up. Vamps is one of those that is being directed by Clueless director Amy Heckerling. Krysten Ritter has been cast in the film already.

The film will be a modern-day tale of two young female vampires living the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardise their immortality. Sounds like a nice snack for all those Twilight fans to munch on before they get their main course.

Production is set to start in March 2010 with Red Hour Films, Lucky Monkey Pictures partner Lauren Versel and Molly Hassell producing.
