How Many More Saw Films Are Left?

Now I'm sure most of us have asked that question, "How many more of these movies are they going to make?" Well on Thursday Lionsgate vice chairman spoke in New York at the Media and Money Conference. While there he spoke of the studios success and what they had planned in the future.. Of course that meant a mention of Saw.

What he had to say however should not be a shocker since I believe all of us have known this all along, "As long as we make money on it we'll keep doing this," he said, pointing out that such franchises tend to have a long shelf life across different platforms. "Dirty Dancing," he pointed out, still sells 2,000 DVDs a day for the company, and that's after 20 years.

So could we possibly see another 20 years of Saw? It's hard to picture a Saw film not making at least its money back during its opening weekend. But if Saw VI was any indication it looks like people may finally be on the way out. So what do you guys think? Could you put up with another 20 years of Saw or do you think they have been beating a dead horse for quite awhile? Sound off on the boards.
