Courtney Cox Talks Scream 4

Since Kevin Williamson began writing Scream 4 he seems to be the only one who has been talking. But today Courtney Cox came out of the woodwork to speak with Yahoo about her role as Gale Weathers. She of course will be returning alongside David Arquette and Neve Campbell.

She shrugged off the rumor that both Dewey and Gale would be killed off in the beginning of the film, "They're probably back living in Woodsboro," Cox said referring to the small California town that was the setting of the first film. "I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen."

Williamson has said that he plans on working on a whole new trilogy of films. It seems rather odd that after all this time they will be returning to the Scream franchise which may even get a theatrical release.. which I believe will weigh heavily on whether or not Wes Craven decides to come back as well or not.
