A Quick Update On The Crow Reboot

Despite the fact that the film has not yet even been greenlit by the studio the producer Ryan Kavanaugh has not shied away from talking about it. He recently spoke with io9 about the film and confirmed that everything would be ready and will be moving ahead in just a few short months with Stephen Norrington directing from his own script.

When asked whether it will be a well known actor or someone new he responded, "It will be an actor you've heard of, yes. We're not ruling anything out. We're looking at both, with the very well known and the "very talented but they may not be quite there yet."

One thing that will be totally different in this adaptation is that the make-up will be totally different and the character is going to be made more "relateable to everybody". Which in my mind means he will be pretty boring. How do you create a character that is relateable to everyone without making him bland? But hopefully they can make it work.
