New Prissy Poster for The Road

Oh if only the Rolling Stone was what would get me to watch The road. This new poster comes off as a snooty poster that would better suit a film for a Woody Harrelson film much less an apocalyptic tale of humanitys destruction. The Road is a very well written movie that is getting huge buzz but this poster makes me think maybe I am not the target demographic.

The Road revolves around a nameless man who is trying to get his son to safety after a nuclear fallout. Unfortunately the road to keeping his son safe turns into a nightmare as it is dangerously filled with survivors who have turned into mutated cannibal armies.  It stars Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Robert Duvall, and Guy Pearce.
