New Cast Member For True Blood Season 3

I haven't even watched one episode of Alan Ball's True Blood. The hype surrounding the show is pretty big but I have never been much of a fan of vampires.. Especially with Twilight now dominating the scene. But all you fans out there will be happy to know that there will be a new face for the third season that will be a regular, Marshall Allman.

Allman will play Tommy Mickens, the long-lost younger brother of Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) who works at a Tire Depot in Arkansas. Meanwhile, Shannon Lucio has landed a guest role on the vampire drama. Lucio will play Caroline Compton, the wife of Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) who lived during the Civil War. Amber Dawn Landrum played the character in a flashback on the show's first season.

Production on the third season of "Blood" begins this week in Los Angeles.
