One More For Aronofsky's Black Swan

It has been quite some time since I have seen a film that I thought could be considered "Dario Argento-esque" but if there is one it has to be Black Swan. The film is being helmed by Darren Aronofsky with Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey and Mila Kunis already attached.

Today some more casting news has come to light. According to Moviehole, Kristina Anapau has joined the stacked cast. Anapau plays Russian dancer Galina, a soloist in the ballet company who’s fiercely competing with Portman’s character, Nina, for the lead role in Swan Lake.

"Black Swan" centers on a veteran ballerina (Portman) who finds herself locked in a competitive situation with a rival dancer, with the stakes and twists increasing as the dancers approach a big performance. But it's unclear whether the rival is a supernatural apparition or if the protagonist is simply having delusions.
