Rinsch to Direct Creature From the Black Lagoon Remake

Some time ago we told you that SAHARA director Breck Eisner was going to helm the remake of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. However today Variety is reporting that a new director is in talks to direct.

Carl Erik Rincsh is in talks to direct the film project. You will recall that Carl was also originally supposed to direct the new ALIENS movie before the studio convinced Ridley Scott to direct.

This remake is one I am not all that excited for since I am not sure how you put a new spin on this classic monster tale but as more details come out we can all decide if its worth checking out or not. Tks to Avery for the scoop.
