The Collector DVD Is Along Ways Off

The Collector was released nationwide on July 31st. Now that should mean that we have our hands on a copy of the DVD already correct? I mean Jennifers Body is already out on DVD. Well if you are to believe what VideoETA is reporting we may have a long wait ahead of us.

According to the site we won't be seing the film for another FOUR months. Yep some time in April is the estimated release date. The only other films I have ever seen pushed this far back have been holiday films. I'm not sure if this is just a mix up or what the hold up may be but stick around as we try to get to the bottom of whats going on.

THE COLLECTOR follows the story of handyman and ex-con Arkin, who aims to repay a debt to his ex-wife by robbing his new employer’s country home. Unfortunately for Arkin, a far worse enemy has already laid claim to the property – and the family. As the seconds tick down to midnight, Arkin becomes a reluctant hero trapped by a masked “Collector” in a maze of lethal invention – the Spanish Inquisition as imagined by Rube Goldberg – while trying to rescue the very family he came to rob.
