Adam Greens Frozen Opens in Calgary / Vancouver

Anchor Bay Film’s FROZEN from Adam Green (Hatchet, Spiral), successfully opened in Toronto-area theatres Friday, February 5, and based on the positive response from filmgoers that’s being echoed by the critics, has expanded to Ottawa on February 19. The film comes to the Globe Theatre in Calgary and Cinemark Tinseltown Theatre in Vancouver next Friday, March 5  while it continues its run in both Toronto and Ottawa.

FROZEN, is directed by Adam Green and is already being blogged about as one of the most highly anticipated horror films to premiere at the festival this year.  In a recent review, Ain’t It Cool News declared FROZEN a perfect horror film and could find absolutly nothing wrong with it.  In the film which also stars Emma Bell and Kevin Zegers and will open nationwide February 5th, three skiers are mistakenly stranded on a chairlift, forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death.  Shawn, who is Canadian born and very acclimate to cold weather performed his own stunts and often sat up in the chairlift for six hour periods while filming took place in the slow burn of the Utah cold to the point where he could hardly feel his own feet.
