Seyfried Confirmed for Red Riding Hood

If Warner Bros. has it their way they are looking to try and capture the same popularity that Twilight has with its new film The Girl With the Red Riding Hood. They even went out and got Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke attached. Today ComingSoon is reporting that Amanda Seyfried confirmed her role in the film on the red carpet last night at the Oscars.

Seyfried of course has some experience in the genre having co-starred with Megan Fox in Jennifers Body. This time around of course she would be playing Little Red Riding Hood as she is terrorized by the "big bad wolf", basically a werewolf. The good news regarding the script is that Orphan scribe David Johnson has been working hard the past couple months to iron out the screenplay.
