Don't worry this isn't an announcement about a Phantasm remake.. yet anyway. Today Screen Daily is reporting that Jessica Biel will headline director Pascal Laguier's The Tall Man. Biel plays a woman who must grapple with and track the mysterious figure of The Tall Man who has kidnapped her child.

If the Laguier is familiar to you it should be. He was the mastermind behind one of the best films a couple years ago, Martyrs. According to him the movie is kind of like Panic Room outside, "It is a ‘woman in jeopardy’ movie with a lot of twists and a strong female character that you feel very connected to.”

Budget is $15m with shooting to start in Vancouver in September. With these names attached you can bet we will be on top of this movie so keep it here for more.
