New Terminator Film Announced, Terminator 3000

We all knew there were good intentions for another Terminator movie but when Halycon ran into serious money problems and got sold it seemed the plans were dead. Turns out they are not but life after death is pretty horrible in this case.

Hanover House who are working in conjunction with the new Terminator film rights holders are going to be putting out a new $70million animated terminator movie. They dont specify what they mean by animated but they do say they want a PG13 rating and to minimalize the violence. Quote from ReelComix;

Story details for "Terminator 3000" are being kept under close wraps, but the writers and production team have a stated goal of minimizing violence in order to obtain a PG-13 level of material.

Am I alone in thinking that a PG13 terminator with 'violence minimized' is easily one of the worst concepts for a sequel ever? I realize studios want to make a buck off their movies but how about shooting a great film and then figuring out your rating? Terminator 3000 will begin shooting in 2011.
