Spanish Thriller Secuestrados a.k.a. Kidnapped - Trailer Inside
Upcoming psychological thriller Secuestrados (Kidnapped) is a Spanish home invasion style horror film which is said to be similar to The Strangers and Funny Games. I personally love home invasion style horror so I'll definitely be checking this one out.
Secuestrados is directed by Miguel Angel Vivas (Reflections) and stars Guillermo Barrientos, Britan Biba, Fernando Cava, Martjn Kuiper, Manuela Velles and Ana Wagener.
Synopsis: "Secuestrados a.k.a. Kidnapped follows three hooded Eastern-European criminals who burst into a home within a Madrid gated community in Madrid and hold a family hostage. They force the father to empty his credit cards, however, the family brutally fights back in this highly realistic thriller."
Secuestrados (Kidnapped) is produced by the Spanish production company Vaca Films who previously worked on the highly acclaimed 2009 film "Cell 211" which won many awards in Spain.
From what I have seen in the trailer it looks awesome, I love this style of film-making, it looks so realistic and extremely violent, you actually see the fear on the victims faces and promises to be brutal. I love watching when the victims get there revenge on there attackers as I personally rally behind them wanting them to cause as much pain as possible.
