8213: Gacy House - DVD Artwork and Trailer Inside

Thanks to Avery on the heads up regarding The Asylum's upcoming movie 8213: Gacy House and the artwork for the DVD. (Which you can view to the right)

I'm not sure what to think about this, after watching the trailer, I wasn't sure what to make of it, I like the idea and it's a different approach to John Wayne Gacy, but I can't help but feel that it comes across kind of cheesy. I myself just prefer a straight up documentary on the serial killer but that being said it may surprise me as I am intrigued none the less to see what they have produced here.

The DVD is released on September 28, 2010 by The Asylum. Check out the Asylum's official website for more information and production stills.

Synopsis: "John Wayne Gacy murdered 33 young men and boys between 1972 and 1978 in suburban Chicago. 26 bodies were found in a crawl space beneath his house and 3 others were buried in the backyard. Although the house was completely demolished during the exhumation of the bodies, on May 15, 2004 a group of paranormal investigators wired the home that was built in its place with paranormal detection and surveillance equipment. The outcome of the investigation was grisly, terrifying and disturbing."
