Zombieland 2 Movie Updates, True 3D

Meh

Reuben Fleisher has been talking with MTV about the upcoming Zombieland 2 and has confirmed what we pretty much already knew that the film will be shot in 3D. The good news is that it will be shot in true 3D and not converted in post production like Piranha 3d, Alice in Wonderland and Clash of the Titans were. Reuben is a huge fan of the format and believes strongly that if you are going to do it you need to do it the way it was intended with 3D cameras. He also went on to talk about the timeline and story for Zombieland 2 telling MTV;

"One of the fun things about 'Zombieland' is it jumps all over the place in terms of the storyline," Fleischer said. "It'll go to before zombies to after zombies and all around those worlds.

What's fun about the sequel is we have freedom and flexibility to show different periods. We might have scenes before the zombies, or we might have some months after, or potentially stuff further down the road. Through the voice-over and the way the movie is structured, we can really explore all different sides of it.

Zombieland has an 88% approval rating based off of 23 reviews on our site making it one of the highest rated zombie movies on our site. I for one am excited to see Zombieland 2 in 3D and its very rare for me to jump on a 3D movie since typically i find it a lazy gimmick.
