Marcus Dunstan Reveals his 'Collection'

Marcus Dunstan's The Collector didn't make a bucket load of cash but it did moderately well considering it's small budget, and led to the film's producer Mickey Liddell announcing there plans for the sequel titled The Collection.

According to STYD The Collection is now heading into pre-production and you probably guessed it already, they are aiming to shoot the movie in 3D.

Marcus Dunstan co-wrote the original The Collector with Patrick Melton and was originally titled The Midnight Man, which was intended to be a prequel to SAW but the producers decided against the idea.

So The Collector was born, sure it wasn't amazing but you have to admit the scene with the cat being stuck to the floor was pretty cool!

Check out the synopsis from STYD: "Josh Stewart will return as Arkin who escapes with his life from the vicious grips of ‘The Collector’ during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his “Collection.” Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby-trapped hideout and save Elena from his sadistic rituals.”
