'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' and No Director?

Director David O Russell has officially left the project Pride and Prejudice and Zombies which is based on the best selling novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith.

Instead Russell will be directing the drama Old St. Louis which stars Vince Vaughn, Russell decided to leave Pride due to scheduling conflicts with star and executive producer Natalie Portman as he was signed on to do both films and Portman required him to choose.

Plot Summary: "A mysterious plague has fallen upon the quiet English village of Meryton and the dead are returning to life! Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is determined to wipe out the zombie menace, but she's soon distracted by the arrival of the haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy. What ensues is a delightful comedy of manners with plenty of civilized sparring between the two young lovers and even more violent sparring on the blood-soaked battlefield as Elizabeth wages war against hordes of flesh-eating undead."

So the project is currently without a director but I'm sure that won't last for very long, if you could pick a director for the film who would you choose?
